Myers-Briggs Training

The Myers-Briggs Type (MBTI) indicator has been shown to be an effective tool for enabling individuals to gain an understanding of the impact of their own type or style on their working and personal relationships.

We use an experiential approach in our MBTI training programs. This method allows participants to gain a practical understanding of the MBTI, and with it, practical application so it can be used effectively within the context of his/her own life experience. Our method also helps avoid the common problem of pigeon holing persons according to type. We do this by allowing our participants to experience and see type diversity within groups as a strength rather than something to be avoided at all costs. In addition we also focus on letting participants fully experience working within functions other than their dominant type.

Some of the strongest applications of the MBTI can be in the areas of team skills and team performance. We offer custom MBTI team trainings that can address specific aspects of teamwork and also use the MBTI as a skill enhancement tool.

Our basic MBTI programs one day in length and includes scoring the MBTI as well as individual and group feedback sessions. We at Adventure Training Associates feel our MBTI programming stands out from other offerings in both its clarity and practical application to every day work life.
